Open up the Past - Understanding Buildings

Northamtonshire Museums Forum, Northamptonshire Association for Local History and the University of Northampton have organised a local history conference: 'Open up the Past: Understanding Buildings' on Saturday 14 June, 10am - 5pm, at Park Campus, the University of Northampton.

The conference will provide more information on historic buildings and will be led by academics from the University of Northampton and will include presentations and workshops. There will be an opportunity to share knowledge and skills in researching historic buildings in Northamptonshire and could help individuals, museums or history societies in organising future displays, presentations and publications.

Speakers include Dr Barrie Trinder, Professor Jon Stobart, Dr Cathy Smith, Dr Matthew McCormack, Jim McDermott, Dr Veronica West-Harling and Dr Garry Campion.
