Digital access framework launches

Renaissance East Midlands is launching its digital access framework, a new document outlining digitisation activities that museums in the East Midlands have been carrying out and setting out a programme of work for 2008 - 2009.

The framework was developed after consultation with museums in the East Midlands during 2007 and was written by the Renaissance East Midlands digital access development officer, Caroline Moore, and Fiona Marshall, MLA East Midlands' knowledge development manager.

The document is interactive and the web links to the region's digital collections all work to show what museums in the region have been doing to increase access to collections through the internet.

A copy of the digital access framework is available on the highlights and initiatives page of the Renaissance East Midlands website.
